A cabochon of Noreena Jasper, a relative newcomer from the Pilbara region of Western Australia. The color and figure reminds me of mungina stone, which is rather soft, but this well silicate Noreena Jasper is harder, with an even wilder pattern. The deep reddish orange frames muted pink ‘windows’, and it’s highlighted with thin lines of yellow. I think it’ll be attractive in even the simplest of settings. Give it a try!
